Happy Hanukkah ~ I Want to Give a Gift to You

Dear Family and Friends,

It’s Hanukkah.

An eight day celebration of our Miraculous God. A time of dedication, light, life, laughter, hope, music, and delicious fried food. It’s one of my favorite holidays. 🙂

I mean, how can you not love the candlelight? How can you not dig the groovy Hanukah music? How can you not want to take a week and remember the miracles God has done for us? How can you not just pause and remember He still does miracles?

I’m going to be honest. My focus has been a little off these past few weeks. My mind has been a little scattered and everywhere. So I’m thankful for Chanukuh. I’m thankful for the reminder that even though there’s nothing I could ever do to deserve it, God still does the impossible for me. Every day.

So I want to celebrate with you.

My family has never really been big on Hanukkah gifts until more recently. This year, we kind of went all out in a Hannukah gift exchange. It was awesome. And so when I was thinking about what I would write for my Hanukhah post, and Mattisyahu’s song dropped into my mind: “Happy Hanukkah, I wanna give a gift to you…” I thought, “that’s it!”

So….

Okay, here are the details.

Who is this for?

This giveaway is for my family and friends and al the lovely people following my journey here on Lionhearted Art (aka, my blog fam ;)). You don’t have to share it anywhere or spread the word to the four corners of the earth. This giveaway is just for you.

The Gift:

You will win one free 9×12 portrait in graphite. In case you’re bad at picturing sizes like I am, here’s a reference. 🙂

This free portrait commission does not include fan art, or original character art, or pet portraits, I’m afraid. It does however include a portrait of you, or your sister, or you and your sister (or brother), or your parents, grandparents, or whoever else you love and would like a portrait of. 🙂

The Entree Fee:

All you have to do is send me a video of you singing a Haanukah song while lighting a Hanukkiah and making latkes and gambling choc–

Okay, okay, don’t freak out. All you have to do is enter in the little Rafflecopter forum thing, and then leave a comment letting me know you entered! It’s that simple. 🙂

The Deadline:

The giveaway is running from today until midnight Wednesday the 23rd. So you have a little over a week to enter. (Just don’t wait until the last minute and then miss it, like I always do.)
