Hey guys! I’m back! And my last blog post was…. over a month ago? What happened?? And here I was trying to do a new post every week. XP
Anyway, I’m here now with an award. To be specific, my second Liebster Award. 🙂 Let’s dive in.
(Oh, and Earnest and I had so much fun doing the last Liebster Award together, we decided to do it again. So Earnest will be guessing my answers in blue, and I will give the real answer below. 🙂 )
- Thank the person who nominated you and display the award. Danke vel, Kenechi Duatron!!
- Answer the questions provided.
- Provide 11 random facts about yourself.
- Nominate 5-11 other bloggers and make sure they know! Whew, I think I’ll go towards five…
- Ask your nominees 11 questions
Alright, let’s do dis…
1. What is your favorite Disney song?
L-E-T I-T G-O

Hahahahahaha.
No. I’m not embarrassed. Because that is not my favorite Disney song.
My favorite Disney song is probably “Carrying the Banner (Finale)“. I just love all the brass at the end. Especially the sax playing the bass line. It just makes my little heart happy. *Does heel-click*
2. What do you do when you are feeling sad for no apparent reason?
Talk t’ Jesus!… Amen

I’ll be honest here. I wish I could say I go straight to Jesus every time I feel sad, but that wouldn’t be true. I’m trying to get better though. In all honesty, what I actually do is mope around until I feel better. And when that doesn’t work I’ll find someone to talk to or get alone and talk to God or read a Bible verse or chapter that I like.
3. On a scale of one to ten, how amazing do you think peanut butter cups are?
probably, 8 or 9… yeah
I think he’s actually right with this one. Peanut butter is pretty amazing. In any form.
4. Do you have a weird food you eat that everyone else thinks is gross?
Oh she eats all kinds of stuff, grapes in salsa, oranges with peanut butter, do I need to go on?
It was clementines with peanut butter, and grapes with salsa is legitimately good. It’s like mango, or pineapple, or any other fruit in salsa.
Yeah, but I didn’t know how to spell climintyne!
5. Soft, low, cozy light, or bright, cheery, fresh light?
Definitely soft, low, cozy Light… I think… *Right Chalice?*
*Fist bumps* Yep. Unless I’m drawing. Then I need bright light.
6. What is your favorite beverage?
Hmmm… Hmmm… Root beer.
Root beer is the best. (He knows me so well!)
7. Do you like to write with pens or pencils?
Pen… cils
It actually depends on what I’m writing. If I’m writing a letter, I prefer pencil, but any other time, I think I like pens better.
I said Pen.
8. What is your dream car?
Honestly, it’s probably a Dodge Power Wagon… or a McLaren F1
Those do look pretty cool… A VWB would be pretty awesome. Or something like this:

Aw, yeh!
9. What’s the worst injury you’ve ever been victim to?
Well, she always talks about how she passed out once, but that’s all I can think about
I don’t even remember that… and I don’t think I was injured in the process.
I’ve never actually been injured very badly. I’ve never broken any bones or anything…. Probably when I sprained my ankle a few months ago. It was so weird, I was just going down the stairs and out of nowhere, I twisted my ankle. Then I was laying on the stairs, groaning in agony , but also kind of laughing, because that just came out of nowhere. Then my little sister thought it would be hilarious to document the event.
My response was:

10. What’s your go-to casual outfit?
Hersey T-shirt, Black sweater, blue stripy skirt.
Depends on what you mean by “casual”. Are we talking Shabbat evening at home, no one’s going to see me, casual. Or are we talking the wedding invitation says “casual”, casual? ‘Cause that’s two completely different outfits.
11. Favorite movie genre?
Oh Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, OK I’m gonna skip this one.
I actually really like sports movies. I’m not sure why, because I really not into sports. I also like comedy (if it’s clean) and biographical.
Alright, onto the random facts.
- I have lots of nicknames. Including Tater, Leech, Freakus, and Hippie. Ahem…wow. For the record, the people who gave me those nick-names are super sweet and some of my best friends. So, wait….What is that saying about me? XD
- I am a C. I am a C-H. I am a C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N. And I have C-H-R-I-S-T in my H-E-A-R-T, and I will L-I-V-E E-T-E-R-N-A-L-L-Y.
- When I was seven, one of my favorite songs was a Persian pop song about getting drunk. In my defense I had no idea what the singer was saying! I was just like, “Hey, this is a really funky song!”
- I love learning new things.
- I have ten siblings.
- When I’m eating cherries, I don’t spit out the pit. I just swallow it. Like a boss. #LivingLifeToTheExtreme
- I love ice skating, even though our family doesn’t go ice skating very often, so I’m not very good at it.
- I love peanut butter, but I also have a mild peanut allergy. I eat it anyway. Like a boss. (Granted, a not very smart boss.)
- I like to draw. I know. You’re probably really shocked.
- I used to be a huge Chicago fan. I have their “very best of” album and I used to have ALL the words to almost every single song on that CD memorized. I was hard core, y’all.
- I’m a people person who absolutely loves people. (Yeah, that’s probably redundant.)
Alright, now I will pass this award along to these awesome bloggers:
Dekreel
Jenna
Anna
NC
and Evelyn
I know most of you have been nominated already, but since this is my second time doing the Liebster Award, I think it’s fair to tag you again. 🙂
And here are your question, if you choose to accept the award. (Accept it. Or don’t. But… accept it.)
- What is something you feel like isn’t talked about enough?
- What’s a song that is really special to you right now?
- If you could go back and relive any memory, just to experience it again, what memory would you go back to?
- Would you rather have dreads or be bald? (Just asking the important questions.)
- If you could speak any language fluently, which language would you choose?
- What’s something you’ve always wanted to do, but haven’t done yet?
- Why haven’t you done the thing mentioned above? I mean, come on. You’ve always wanted to do it….
- What are three things off the top of your head that make you happy?
- What are three things off the top of your head that make you sad?
- How do you want to change the world in your lifetime?
- Do you wear socks in bed?
The end. Or is it?
Plot Twist, It’s a Trilogy
So, while I was in the process of writing this post I was awarded again! And so I complete the trilogy of award… Unless, that is, I’m nominated yet again… but let’s not jump ahead of ourselves.
Righto. Here are the rules for this award.
• Thank the blogger who nominated you. Thank you kindly, Aberdeen and Mariposa!!
• Display your award.

• Answer the questions you were asked.
• Nominate 5 bloggers.
• Ask 6 new questions.
• Let your nominees know they were nominated.
1. What is your mood today?
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. *nods*
2. Do you prefer dinosaurs or dragons?
I don’t think it’s fair to answer this question when it’s probably asked by a dinosaur…. and my answer is dragons.
3. How many blogs do you read/follow?
I am following 40 blogs. I had no idea I was following that many. And I read almost all of them. (I don’t read the ones who never post.)
4. Roughly, how many books do you own (caution: answer question at your own discretion. A certain dinosaur may come and eat those books if you reveal your answer)?
Ummm…. Not a lot. Probably about 30. And a ton of Answers in Genesis magazine, but I don’t know if those count.
5. What would you do if Aberdeen were your assistant?
This is a tough question. Because Aberdeen is Mariposa’s assistant. That’s just the way it is. Well, the first thing I would do is assure Jasmine that I am not replacing her. (BTW, check out this awesome artwork Mariposa made of me and Jasmine.)

Isn’t it awesome? 😀 I love it!
Anyway, I think the real question is, what would Aberdeen do if he was my assistant? Because that would determine my response.
6. Are you a pantser or plotter?
Plotter. All the way. Every time I try to pants, I get like half a page into my story and I’m like, “I have no idea where this story is going. I need an outline.”
7. If you could be anyone besides yourself, who would you want to be and why?
Um…. I don’t know. This is a really hard question. I don’t really want to be anyone except for myself. But if I had to choose…
I don’t know!!! I’m probably thinking about this too hard.
Okay, okay, I got it. Fictional character’s weren’t excluded, so… Sabrina Fairchild.

Why? Well, she gets to live in Paris, she has an awesome dad who likes to read, and she marries a billionaire. What more could you ask for? (Besides all that, we kinda look alike, don’t we?… Okay, no, we don’t.)
8. If you were stuck in an empty room for 24 hours, what would you do?
Anything I wanted to. I mean, food, who needs it, right? I would definitely sleep at some point. But the first thing I would probably do is sing. (Priorities, man!) At the top of my lungs (because I’m assuming no one can hear me). Then when I got tired of that I would lay on the ground and talk to God and realize that was probably the first thing I should have done. Then, I would think about my characters and wonder what they would do if they were stuck in an empty room. Then I would probably get bored out of my mind and start talking to the empty air like I was making a vlog or something. “Heyo! What up, people? Chalice Sleep here. I’m stuck in an empty room for the day.” Then I would worry that there were hidden cameras filming me.
9. What are five words that describe your personality?
I asked my Mom for five words that described my personality (because for some reason it’s really hard to come up with words to describe yourself). This is what she gave me:
“Vivacious, Jovial, Compassionate, Sensitive, Humble.”
10. What is one food you can’t stand?
I had to think hard about this one. But I finally reached my conclusion.
Fried crickets.
I think I could try fried grasshoppers, but fried crickets? No way. Just… no.
11. What do you predict you’ll be doing in ten years?
Serving God, making art, playing music, loving life. *nods*
And now I nominate these extraordinary bloggers:
Noah
Catwing
Emma
Alabama
and Julia
Your questions:
- If your life story had a moral, what would it be?
- What’s your favorite kind of chocolate bar?
- What’s something that always makes you laugh?
- What is an activity that you have a love hate relationship with?
- What is your most embarrassing moment (that you are willing to share)?
- What’s something you wish more people knew about?
Have fun, bloggers!
And readers, if you made it all the way through this monster of a post, wow. I admire your perseverance, loyalty, and bravery. *hands you a virtual chocolate bar*
Well, I’m off to notify these lovely bloggers that they’ve been tagged. Whoop-whoop! I’ll see you around!
Until then, stay groovy.

I LOVE the Newsies songs! I think it’s safe to say it’s my all-time-favorite musical. Plus, it’s Disney! Yes, peanut butter is a m a z i n g! Not with bologna, though. That’s what my grandma does. XD
I actually hate anything sweet in salsa… haha. 😛
I believe if I was stuck in a empty room that long… I would do basically the same stuff as you. And then I would start to demonstrate my nonexistent- super-Thor-strength by trying to break the door down. It would result in bruising my shoulder and *not* breaking the door down. Then I’d probably imagine a whole conversation between Thor and I, him making fun of my puny-ness in his hilarious way, and I denying I ever tried to knock down the door in the first place. I’d say it was a scientific experiment. XD
I’ve had fried grasshoppers, but CriCKeTs? Disgusting.
I love your answers to all the off these questions, and the gifs were spot on hilarious! XD
Cheerio!

YES, the Newsies soundtrack is one of my favorites!
Peanut butter with bologna? I can’t say I’ve ever tried that, but peanut butter on bacon or potato chips is pretty good.
Hahaha! Yeah, there’s actually quite a bit to do in an empty room. I had to actually shorten my answer, because it was getting WAY too long. XD
Wow, you’re brave. Were they good? It seems like fried crickets wouldn’t be too different, but just the idea of it… uggh!
Haha, thanks! And thank you for tagging me. I had a lot of fun answering your questions! 😀

I can’t say I’d want to try peanut butter with bacon. XD I like bacon with chocolate or maple syrup, though. I believe they were pretty good! We always caught the biggest grasshoppers, ’cause they are plentiful here. 😛 I’m not sure I would want to eat them again, but they were a fun childhood treat. XD
You’re welcome! 🙂

Your answers are GOLD. Except the one about only having thirty books? *gasps* How can you survive on such paltry substance? At least your books are safe from me; I’ll raid somebody who has at least a hundred. 😉🦖 (but Answers magazine is awesome, so I may raid your house for that 😛).
To answer your question, if I were assistant I’d sit on you cuz that’s what I do. 🦖

Thank you! Your questions were awesome and I had a fun time answering them. 🙂 Ah, yes, ’tis the sad life of a broke bookkeeper. I think the only way I have survived thus far is through the genius invention of the library card. XD
*Covers up magazines* And, no, you may not have my Answers magazines!
Well, in that case, I would make the argument that your sitting on me hinders my productivity. And if you still kept sitting on me I would purchase a leather biker jacket with large spikes covering it.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Your argument is invalid. My sitting never hinders anyone’s creativity. Besides, if you cannot afford to buy books, you cannot afford to buy a spiky leather jacket. 🦖😉

That’s very true. I guess I would just have to learn to put up with you sitting on me, then. (Well, if nothing else, your question has given me a higher respect for Mariposa. 😉 )

Thanks for the virtual chocolate bar.
This is so fun! I love how you did the first half of this post with your brother guessing the answers. That was very entertaining. 🙂
“Carryin’ the Banner (Finale)”!!! I love pretty much all of the music for Newsies. Alan Menken is the best. He wrote so many great Disney songs!
LikeLiked by 1 person
Haha, you’re welcome. 😉
Yes, I love the Newises music! I haven’t listened to much of Alan Menken’s other music though. What’s your favorite Disney song?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Hehe, it’s impossible to pick just ONE favorite Disney song, but here are a FEW: “The Bells of Notre Dame” and “Out There” from The Hunchback of Notre Dame (GLORIOUS), “Beauty and the Beast” from, well, you know, “I See the Light” from Tangled, and “Santa Fe” from Newsies. Coincidentally, these are all Alan Menken. 🙂

Oh, I really like “I See the Light”. I didn’t know he did that one. That’s cool. 🙂

I love your brother’s answers in the first one. XD This post made me laugh out loud–as always.
Thanks for tagging me! Sorry I didn’t see it sooner. I must have missed this post in Sept…I think that was the week I got my wisdom teeth out. 😛 I still plan to do that tag though.

Yeah, me too. 😉 We always have fun doing these together. 🙂 Haha, thanks! That makes me happy.
You’re welcome. That’s totally fine (and understandable if you were getting you wisdom teeth taken out). I can’t wait to read you answers! 🙂
